They've been weaving corduroy since the late 1800s, and still have a stream running through the mill which they use to wash and clean the cotton.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAn exclusive fabric to Wythe, the donegal cords came about when we were looking for a corduroy to compliment their donegal tweed. They approached this historic corduroy mill with some of their inspiration, and they worked together to go through their archive to come up with the answer. Throughout the years, they had come up with their own printing process to achieve a donegal effect in their signature super-soft corduroy. This effect is unique to this mill and there are many steps involved in the process to create this beautiful fabric.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pleated corduroy chinos provide volume and drape they think a fabric like this deserves.
